All the ASPIRING ca's just asses the value of the world's most coveted and difficult course CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCY by just going through the campus placements this time!!!!

What a pathetic response cant just tell u...myself 93% in 12th boards ...graduate from hansraj college and securing 63% in ca final hasnt got shortlisted by even one company.....there are only 350 jobs offered till now and studemts competing them are over 3500+....shameful i must say....now in the time to come CA will also be like MBA having the degree in their hands and searching for a job.....its all because of the institue by making the entry to the course easy by introducing cpt and taking out the pass no. of candidates to a high level....sorry to say...but CA course is losing out its sheen...its an alarming bell to all those who think that after clearing ca they will be in the comfort zone with companies running after them....wake up!!!!

really very unpleasing 2 hear the plight of chartered's like you....u have shown the true world 2 us....is there any prefenernce given 2 first attempters/rankers?????

hope tat ur hard work will not go in vain....u will surely be shorlisted in the co. u want 2 work......wat is not in campus...the world does not end here....best wishes for ur rocking future ahead.......

thanks a lot anand for ur wishes bro....but i hve no hopes from the campus and have started preparing myself for the interviews and will apply personally...it really demotivates u sometime...i really dont know the basis on which the co's are shortlisting the candidates....anyways i just ignore the negativities now....co's arent worth me.....and i will surely get the best over the one's who are coming to the campus....!!!!!!!

ya abhishek. same is the cae with me . I cleared ca both groups in this attempt with overall 59 % but not shotlisted. by campus . i still hope that in second round of shortlisting i will be shotlisted and also i m apllying to other cos thru job site also. Hope we will get good package.

this is really depressing.......if CA 's are facing this problem then what is the future of company secretaries and management accountants??

btw Abhishek all the best wishes for ur career...i am sure you would be employed,and we professionals always have the option of starting our own practice.

it seems that companies are more inclined towards recruiting MBA's rather than professionals.

Wat d hell ... Campus z dsgstn ds tym arnd. I gt 92% in 12th, dstinctn cpt, final 62%, was debator etc etc. Done Articleshp in d area project finance, 5mths insurance sectr exp... Still no shrtlstng.. VALUe of ca'??? Huh dsgstng..

That's unpleasant and shocking. If we are not going to get even a placement, then what is the use of putting so much efforts and spending time for this course and going thru so much difficulties to complete ca? We could have better gone to a job straight After b.com. It is painful to note that future ca's, their pains will not give them any gains.
