As per the new notification by ICAI a person can terminate his articles and join with other firm only after completion of 1st years articles and before the last year

that is you cant terminate in your 1st year and final year of articles

moreover you need to show proper proofs for your transfer like 

1)maintain 50km distance from one auditor to another or

2)your parents has to get transfer from one place to another

you can go for secondment / industrial training at any point of time of your articles
