This sale will be treated as scrap sale and VAT/CST will be charged on the same.
| Dear Kishan I am to inform you that VAT is leviable on the sale of scrap. The rate of VAT will be that applicable to the commodity mentioned in the schedule of goods as per your state. In the case of Interstate sale it will be liable to CST at 2% if covered by valid C Form and in the absence of the C Form the higher rate of VAT applicable under the State . | ||
