I want to know vat % on 'kachori' and 'samosa'...Please help me out...Its urgent!!

dear.....

if sales of kachhori and samosa is more than 40 lakh per year then vat is levied @ 4%

I heard somewhere that now its 14%..Thats why I wanted to confirm about it

Mam ur question is good.

mooh me paani aa gaya so samosa kha kar hi batana padega

i think no vat is charged on kachori or samosa

Dimple, In M.P. It's 5 % w.e.f. 1.8.09, I don't know about other states (previously it was 4 %)
