This is really bad from ICAI. I rechecked the question 2 times and lost around 10 minutes thinking i had done some mistake somewhere while calculating :(
With the time i lost, i could have done that Factoring question for 8 marks, but i couldnt because of lack of time. :(
60 Percent is DP ratio.

I thought too that it was a wrong question and left only writiung the answer. Also, technically I think it was a wrong question as how can a company pay more than it is earning? For this we had to take an assumption that Company is paying out of its past profits, 5 marks ke question me itni magajh mari.
Also SFM kam accounts zada lag raha tha aj ka paper. 2 balance sheet banani pad gyi aj to.
See the equation goes like 56= 8.4(1-(1-x))/.12-x*.15.
Solve x it will come retention ratio 40 prcnt and thus dp ratio is 60 percnt
