Urgent Service Tax & Vat Queries

My Client is provided a catering Service, He arrange a party like Birthday Party, Anniversary Party, Fairwell Party, Velentain Party etc,  and he provide a food, Moktail, D.J., etc. My question is he is to Charge Service Tax or Vat or Both? And whts rate or Lumsum paid in the Invoice Bill? Bcz service Tax is leived on providing catering service (i.e. Food) and D.J. also vat is leived on vegetable.? Its urgent
