Vide Circular No. 13/2016 dated, 09/05/16, CBDT has relaxed and extended the time limit for verification of the e-filed return through EVC or by submitting signed ITR-V to CPC, Bengaluru. As per the circular the e-filed return referred above has to be verified through EVC or by submitting ITR-V on or before 31-08-2016.

YOU SEEM TO HAVE MISSED THE DEADLINE.

I have seen accepting ITR V in delayed cases by the CPC. They accept the ITR V send after the due date but it is accepted with the delay receipt remarks. In what cases do they accept the delayed ITR V, I have no information but you can take a chance and send the signed ITR V immediately to CPC without any further delay. Let's hope for the best.
