Urgent query regarding agm date in case of adjournment agm

Subsequent AGM date...would be date for annual return and annual e-form of adjourned meeting due to want for Qourem....

Thanks for the reply but is this any where written can you give me reference of that

I tried to find out but was not succesful...so i asked my sir..he also told me the same thing...

For the purpose of annual return the subsequent meeting at which the proper quorum was present and balanceshhet was adopted will be date of an AGM

Adjournment occurs in two situations regarding quorum,

AGM called by the Board

if quorum is not present the meeting be adjourned for the next week sate day at the same time and venue

and the meeting stands validly convened and adjourned and adjourned meeting is continuation of agm

then date of agm is the first day of meeting

AGM called upon the requisition of members

If within half an hour from the time appointed for holding a requisitioned meeting, quorum is not present the meeting shall stand dissolved.
