I am a student of CA Final (Old) course. I received a letter from the Institute few days back accompanied by a form for applying for Accounting Technician Course Certificate.

I have completed the practical training and have been giving Final examinations but unfortunately couldn't qualify. But I am in no mood to quit until I become a CA

My queries :

1.What is the value of ATC certificate in my future career?

2. Will applying for ATC certificate hamper in any manner my CA Final examinations that I will appear in future?

1. ATC have been introduced just last year and it dont carry any statutory power along with it. Hence it will be too early to comment on its value. It may be useful in case someone discontinues his ca due to unavoidable reasons.

2. I dont think applying for ATC will effect your ca attempt in any way. Keep up your spirit. There is no need to quit ca. Keep working hard and you will definitely become a CA. very soon.

If you still have doubt you can directly call institute for your query regarding effect of ATC on your attempt.
