Dear Members,
A public limited company took approval from Central Government to increase its number of directors. However, the company did not appoint the directors even after one year of sanction by CG. Please explain the further course of action. Does the company need to seek CG approval again or can it pass a resolution in its Board and appoint directors now? Please reply its very urgent.

whether the CG has accorded its approval for incrase in no. of directors. if yes, whether have you altered your AOA to by mentioning the increased limit of directors. If you have done this then there is no need for fresh approval, if no. of directors are being incrased within the sanctioned limit.
