these may be business identity rather than company, as per indian rules, there are several other business identities as proprietorship / partnership /  AOP / BOI  which are not covered under the companies act, but allowed to do business at par

It is not Company as it is not registered in Company Law, you will find many shops in the market mentioning the name CO. like A & B Co. it does not mean that they are company. They are just a firm or propritership business and filing the return in Individual capacity

a company is incorporated only on it's registeration

here it isnt the company but simply a business carried by a group of individuals collectively.

e & y ,kpmg etc are the brand name under which indian audit firms are carrying its activities.

Agree with above replies as without registration company can't be formed..

KPMG, E&Y etc are partnership firms & not the co...

Audit Firms cannot be Formed as Limited or Pvt Ltd companies 

if the company mentioned by you is not registered under any statute then i guess that will be an illegal association (based on the number of members & nature of business going under )

ALL THESE BIG 4'S ARE JUST BRAND NAMES......
