I am in big trouble please help me.
My principal submitted my articleship form with ICAI in which he has written 3.5 years as articleship period because he was not aware that articleship period for IPCC passouts is 3 years. He returned back the Form 102 and 103 without the stamp of ICAI to me.
How to rectify this mistake?
Is my principal is responsible to rectify the mistake.
Please help me to solve this problem.

Contact ICAI
Submit a letter on the letter head of ur Firm asking to rectify the mistake and get acknowledgement of same frm the institute
you should contact to ICAI article saction (vishwash Nagar).
u dont need to worry about it .The institute in default set the articleship period of 3 years for the IPCC student. If they will have some problem in ur registration then they will communicate with both of u ie u & ur principle. I have also fill the article ship of 18 month in my 102 but i have completed my 3 & half year. They set period in default. However for ur assurance u may go to vishvas Nagar at 1st floor ur query can be sorted out

This is not such a big issue..
The Icai knows (obviously) about the tenure or articleship being 3 years so it wouldn't really matter
but just to be on the safe side, contact ICAI once.

yes your principal is responsible why he do this to to why he doesn’t stamp your documents that’s the reason for rejected your documents and principal should rectify your problem and he must help you if he doesn’t do this so you complain it OK
