Meaning of Share -
(1)share in the share capital of the company.
(2) 'Share' includes STOCK except where distinction between stock and shares is expressely implied.
I dint understand the (2) meaning.. what is the meaning of complete line and what does STOCK mean overher???
i have even heard converting share into stock..what does thiis mean?
Stock is a instrument it that consisted of number of Shares of the company.
Traditionally Stocks where very famous for trading (Bunch of Shares as one instrument (call it a lot of shares))
Now they are just not THERE.But people now use Stocks instead of shares,vice versa..
And in company law the provision is just there without any use.
i am not able to catch the exact menaing of point 2.. can you brief it some more..
