Urgent Articleship advice needed

chennai will be afood option for articleship.

i am from Bhopal MP (north india) so i can't give u much about articleship in chennai. But u can go to the local branch office of ICAI or go to the website of ICAI there u can see the list of firms from your locality.

Regarding articleship please do the work sincrely but also keep track of your studies. Doing articleship is fun but if u do not keep in tune with your sstudies then articleship becomes a burden and overall wastage.

So while doing articleship make sure that u study for atleast 3-4 hrs every day and on sundays study additional 2 hrs that is on sundays and holidays stuy for 6 hrs.
FOR coming 3 years holidays+vaccations are off for you because you need to study hard and with full efforts. SO study daily  3 hrs. with articleship

But i hav tried in ICAI's site to find some firm names but the system appears not working...
Can u please explain how I can get it easily....

well easy way is to go to the local branch office and get the directory of CA published by the regional offices. By going through that book you can get information , address , and telephone number of firms and CA's.

ALso if you can go the chennai it will be the best thing but it will also depend upon weather your family permits yu to stay outside your home town.

OR go to any teacher who gives classes related to CA around your city or you need to contact senior students of CA in your city. OR you can also go to any CA's office and just ask for the directory of CA firms. OR you can go to the secretary of your local area branch office and contact him to get thr directory of CA firms.

I will honestly say that you will not get much help sitting home. You need to go out and contact other peoples.
