Upload error for ITR-2 after validation

Hi Friends,
I have filed my ITR-2 online myself (not a CA/ tax pro) and overcome a few valdation errors. After internal validation, I see the preview of the return. When I want to finally upload the return, I get a Upload error. The screenshot is attached.
It looks to be an error pertaining to the ESOP page. I have removed that schedule from the return, as it does not pertain to me.
Has anyone else faced this problem ? Please advise.
Thanks.

Quick Summary
Users are encountering an 'Upload error' when trying to file their ITR-2 online, particularly after validation and when dealing with the ESOP schedule. Solutions suggested include double-checking all sections, clearing browser cache, and re-downloading the latest utility. Some users found success by entering dummy data for the ESOP schedule or ensuring unused schedules are completely deleted and re-validated. If problems persist, switching to the online filing mode on the portal is recommended.

Double - check if all other sections and schedules are correctly filled.

Ensure the returns is saved in the correct format.

Try uploading again after clearing browser cache or using a different browser.

If the issue persists, consider contacting the tax department's support

What you need to do, go to schedule summary and add schedule then se schedule you don't need is unchanged, go to validation if again error, make zero, again check your schedule is unchecked, go to validation if error, try to restart filling as new.

I tried as I have no salary, but asking for salary exemptions, I already deselected salary schedule, I made zero, I did what I explained above.

All good and filed ITR2.

What I did for the error in the ESOP page (the error appeared even after the ESOP sheet was deleted) was to enter the PAN of my previous employer and a dummy DPIIT no - the rest of he values were 0. That was accepted and I could file.

This error usually comes from one of two sources: an empty ESOP schedule left in the utility (the DPIIT pattern validator fails even when you have no ESOP income, so delete that schedule and re-validate), or exempt allowance descripttions longer than 50 characters in section 10. Re-download the latest offline utility from the portal, clear any unused ESOP and allowance schedules, re-validate, and upload the fresh JSON. If the error persists, switch to the online filing mode directly on the portal, which bypasses most utility bugs.
