Last date to file Updated return for Assessment year 22-23 is 31/3/2025 , because today is 30/3/2025 as per your query date , So in my opinion you can file updated return, subject to conditions and restrictions, as per the income tax Act . I think you can not claim any deductions or reduced tax liability like revised return.

You can file updated return till March, 2027; but not in old regime... Only under new regime.

Time for updated return has been extended from 2 years to 4 years, in budget 2025 , that's why time limit may be 2027 , however is this clause notified till date by the goverment ?.
Budget passed and enected to act; efective from 01.04.2025........
