Unclaimed TDS

If you've processed your Income Tax Return (ITR) but realised some Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) wasn't claimed, don't worry. You can still claim it by filing a rectification request for your return. If the time limit for a revised return is still available, that's another option. For unclaimed TDS from previous years that was forgotten during filing and the ITR has already been assessed, specific procedures will apply to recover these amounts.
