We are facing an issue while attempting to file a Core Amendment for changing the legal name of our company on the GST portal. Despite following the necessary steps under the Amendment of Core Fields section, the portal does not allow us to save and submit with the application submission.
Company legal is amended in ROC and PAN records as well.
Please refer rule 19 of the CGST rule 2017 , as per rules you have take prior approval from proper officer in certain cases for amendments in Core fild, including changes in the name of the business . I think after your application in REG 14 , proper officer will issue an approval order in REG 15.

Did you get any solution on this ? I am facing same problem. I dont understand why on world they cant keep edit option. Theres just view and delete.
In my Opnion , Rule 19 of the CGST rules prohibits keeping Edit Option Open , I think you have to take approval in certain cases , as per rule , please refer .
We are also having the same issue unable to save the same has anyone got the solution?
