I am unable to download form 16A from TRACES directly by entering the challan details and deductee details. 1. If a challan where only a single deductee record is entered -error message appears asking to enter 3 deductee details 2. if a challan where more than 3 deductees are present, and if we enter 3 PAN Nos and respective TDS, error message is appearing as "PAN Amount combination details entered by you are not valid for the challan details which are provided by you. Please enter valid details I have checked the PAN nos and corresponding amount of TDS in the returns filed but TRACES is showing the same message ................. Is there no way we can download the Form 16A directly from TRACES????

I m facing same type of problem but if u entered 3 deductees with same amount & PAN then it can be error.. u can try with other deductees with another amount. it may help u to download. & in single deductee u can try another challan.
I tried with other deductees and PANs also - but it shows the same error....in multiple deductees
in case of single deductees also, i tried different challan.......but the problem persists.....it asks to enter 3 deductees......
is this a bug to stop directly download from TRACES and to depend on some private custom made software????
please check that the amount entered by you is proper format. e.g. if your amt. is 12345 then you have to type 12345.00. only then it will proceed further.
if amt. is correct then there can be other reasons also. if any challan with 3 or more dwductee details then it is mandatory to give detail of that challan only. and all three pan in that challan must be diff.
