Two modes used for Transportation

I have used road transport for certain distance and for balance I used railways to transfer my carriage to inter state destination. How should I generate e-way Bill ?

E-way bill will be the same , but the B part has to be update as the conveyance is change ( when the transhipment is done)

You have to made two separate e-way bill. One for road transport mentioning details of vehicle used & second fron transport via rail.

The only B part will update by getting RR (railway recept) on same e-way bill, one cannot make 2 e-way bill for same invoice or single invoice, pls refer rule 138, & notification 12/2018 CT
