TRP SCOPE ENLARED - IS IT A THREAT TO PRACTICING CAS

Others 1143 views 4 replies

DEAR FELLOW FRIENDS AND SENIORS

It is proposed to enlarge the Scope of  area of TRP functionings... They are being given training in class room atmosphere by  Income Tax Dept, as well as Central Excise Dept

In near feature thay may take upper hand over practicing CA's especially in Tier II and III cities and towns.   Is it post a Threat to CA who are in practice..  What ICAI is doing for this and how to face them ....

In future if the same trend continues They may allow to represent a client under sec 288 of the ACT side lining CAs [ the Act may amend suitably]

Critise my feeling and come with construtive ideas...  [kindly donot tell that when there is a Will we can survive and the like ]

With respects

My friend, You have raised good question but in my opinion nothing to worry about. Practising CAs are not bound by the scope of some filling procedures. The complexity of business and recent development in taxes are not with the level of TRP. For your second threat, I can assure you No assessess would prefer that their case represented by TRP who do not hold any expertisation or commitment. In this business world every one know what a CA can do! (Ethically and otherwise). So don't worry my friend, we still have bright future ahead.

i suppourt Mr. Shukla.......their don't hve such expertise nor any legal backing.......

After doing articleship, training, extensive practice we are still learning, is it possible with 1 month theorical training?

my answer is same as mr.pranay......
