Quick Summary
This discussion explores the correct accounting treatment for an eye mark sensor. Participants suggest classifying it as a computer peripheral and part of computer costs, especially if purchased with a new computer. For standalone sensor purchases, the cost is a key factor; items under £5,000 may not require fixed asset registration, though booking it under computer expenses is an option.

It’s a computer peripheral and integral part of it. Just account it under computer.

If it is come with new computer than treat as a computer cost.
if you only purchase sensor then buying price is important below 5000 not compulsory to book in assest Although you may book in computer
