Hi Friends,
I want to know about the Travelling Allowance Provision. I read in the accounts book T.A is allowed upto 600/- P.M but is ther is any special other conditions to avail the T.A Allowance.
Please clarify more if somebody has working in the college and getting a salary of Rs.22000/- P.M

Transport Allowance for the purpose of commuting from home to office and back is exempt to the extent of Rs. 800/- per month. The amount is further restricted to actual expenditure incurred.The amount of salary is not relevant.
