I have basic question about capitalisation of transportation cost. When we are going to capitalised transporation cost ? As per my opinion Rs. 650 cost need not be capitalised if we purchased fan and other electric materials. Am i right ?

Consider materiality level while capitalising... Just claim as an expenses
As per AS 10, all costs should be capitalised which is incurred in relation to fixed assets... In its intended use by management
it should be capitalised bcz expense is incurred bcz use.

When it is added with fixed cost... Then amount is not small... All costs should be added to fixed assets cost
As ur wish if u want to record this as an expense... Then record...
