I am article since last 9 months, but since I have joined I have never seen my Boss taking any initiative in this business. He has appointed an article who has attempted PE II number of times, but has not even passed one group. I have no objection with working with him, but I am not able to learn anything over here, also the other articles working here are not able to learn anything here. What I have to do is all the time follow my senior and ask for things to learn, but he never explains it himself or shows any initiative in teaching us anything. I have worked before for 1 year and 11 months under a Chartered accountant but here I have lost everything that I have learned. also I donot get my stipend at time, I received my last months stipend cheque dated 15th November (ie. on sunday) on 11th Nov, and today 16th I went to deposit the cheque which could not clear due to debit balance in my Boss's account. I never get my stipend before 10th this date is also never fixed 2 times I have received it after 20th this time also the same. I feel there is no proper guidance nor any future over here, do I still I have to complete my articleship over here??? I had a talk with my Boss but it seems there is no effect on him. Please tell me what I can do.

You are remaining with only 1 year of articles...... Bear it I would say.... A disinterested boss is much better than the one who doesnt give leave for exams and classes............ N ya, if you do want to take action, just wait till a couple of more cheques bounce.... Then you can complain to ICAI that you are not being paid stipend which is a valid reason for a transfer....

If u want to learn some thing...
Then there is a way out to work some other CA without transfer known as SecondMent of Articles... U can Ask ur CA to cooperate a little & join someone else as A Secondment For Further Procedures u can speak at institute as even i dont know full procedure..
