How we can transfer goods from one unit to another unit with same Excise registration number mean XM001 to XM002
Any removal from the factory premises should be by excise challan only. So raise excise Invoice, pay the duty and remove the goods.

removal can be done with
1) on invoice after paying duty .......receiving unit can take cenvat credit
2) on job work challan ( without paying duty), but in such case the goods has to be returned to parent unit within 180 days.
