I had joined my articleship on 29 August, 2013. I took trnasfer on 4 August, 2014. 1st year of articleship will be completing on 28 August, 2014. My new principal is saying that he can only register me as articled assisstant in 1st week of september.
So, My only doubt is whether limit of transfer is 1 year or we should get it registered in 1 year only.

Since ur transfer date is in first year u can register at any time but before 30 days of transfer
i.e., ur re registration must be dn before 4 sep
ask ur principal to register u on or before 4th sept

I am in first year of articleship and I want to take the transfer now. I has been paid monthly stipend of Rs. 5,000/-. My pricipal said that as per ICAI regulations he don't need to pay that amount. So he asked me refund the excess amount I recceived. I have already completed 11 months of articleship. So the amount comes to very big and I am not in a position to pay that amount. I tried convincing him in many ways, but nothing worked. I don't have more time. Please suggest.
I also want know that how leave period will be considered in determining the period of articleship completed.

1 Rs mat dena apne principal ko.. Ask him to complaint against u that U R NOT REFUNDING THE AMOUNT
He wont bcz if he does so he would be trapped by ICAI

Take transfer.... I know ur CA will not sign ur form 109 until u refund his money
He will make a deal with u that HE WILL SIGN ONLY WHEN U REFUND
Tell him that if he doesnt sign ur letter U WILL COMPLAINT AGAINST HIM IN ICAI that My principal is asking me to refund the stipent in cash and not signing my 109 even when i m in first year of training
