Nope there is no hard and fast rule like that. I don see any impact, many ppl take tfd to get exposure in various fields.
There is no such rule. Transfer can be taken anytime under following three cases - 1. By mutual consent of the article student and his employer (principal) 2. On the death of the prinicipal 3. On the articled student opting for industrial training. So, the transfer is possible only in the aforesaid ways. If you have not completed 2 years of articleship then option 3 is not applicable to you. So, in that case you can take a transfer only if ur employer is agreeing to it, or he/she dies. But, if the prinicpal refuses for the transfer, then there is no remedy prescribed in the Chartered Accountants Act to get a transfer. If you want a transfer, and your principal refuses, then you have to work with him/her even if you are not interested, even if you are getting a better opportunity elsewhere...etc.
Articied Assistent is supposed to complete at least 9 month of its articleship training under any C.A. at a strech. We can do less period of training under other C.A.s
