Respected Members,

I have one query regarding transfer and demat of shares.
One person have a transfer deed dated June 1995 but name of transferor not mentioned on it.
now he wants to demat these shares.
he has share certificates also but name of transferee is there.
there is only one bill issued by broker on which name of transferor mentioned.

please guide me, how we demat these share in name of transferor.

You can dematerialise the shares in the name of the transferor provided the shares must be owned by the transferor. So execute a transfer deed between the transferor and transferee. After obtaining the ownership you go to your bank and open a demat account and then dematerialise your shares. I am not absolutely sure but hopefully this can help you
