I had stock of goods. As i did not come under excise I do not have excise invoices. hence I filed tran-1 for such stock in nov 17.
I also made the sale in nov 17.
now my tran-2 is active & it is asking me to fill the details for sale made from july. but I haven't made any sale till oct 17. the 1st sale in gst regime is made in nov 17. tran-2 for jul 17 is asking me for opening stock of goods & sale made during the month. & both are compulsory fields. I can fill op. stock details but how can I file sale made during july if my 1st sale is made in month of nov 17.
plz help.

I think you have to file tran2 from July onwards.
Also state the sale made in tran1 stock as zero up to Oct.2017

no.
the problem is it is the sale figure is not accepting zero. you have fill amount greater than zero in sales column for July in tran-2.
I have have no sales at all in July.
so in such scenario how m I supposed to fill tran-2 for jul. & if I don't submit tran-2 for jul, my tran-2 for aug is freezed. this is kind of roadblock. plz help

i am also facing the same problem. Trans2 is not taking july sales as zero. I have not made any sales in july and have filed my july figures as zero sales and purchase. Now in trans 2 i am not able to fill august figures and in july zero cannot be filled. If i file 1 unit sale in july i will be at fault and for august can i decrease the sale by 1 unit in trans 2?

There is no solution, wait for update, GSTN will have to update as it is major problem for 0 Sale In July Month

Hi, I'm having the following issue with Tran2. Here's the series of my steps.

Tran-1

I filed the Tran-1 form on 27 Dec 2017 with the details of my stocks as on 30 June 2017.

We had 8 different products as our closing stock on 30 June 2017 in our Tran–1

Tran–2 - July

I then filed Tran–2 for July 2017 with only 4 different products which were traded in July 2017.

The balance 4 products were not added in the Tran–2 form, as they were not traded. I was not aware that I had to enter all the stocks even if they were not traded.

Tran–2 - Aug

Now, I am unable to add the 4 products which were not added in Trans-2 of July 2017, since they were not traded in July and I did not add them in Tran-2 of July.

Please help, so that we can file add all the products to our Tran-2 returns of Aug 2017.
