Yes it is a fact that nowadays rank is not the soul criteria of selection for recruiters. Right amount of knowledge and professional attitude is must to get a good paying job.
 

It is peculiar situation that rank does not guarantee  knowledge  of CA student now a days.

Is this magic of coaching classes or some fault in examination system

Amazing scenario. If top ranker are getting 3.60 Lacs annum and people are saying ranks are not sole criteria.

I don't think Only CA/CWA Degree is liable, a sole factor to generate high remuneration package in any Industry for any body. Remuneration depends on several acumen/skills like Communication (verbal and written), Personality, leadership, practical experiences, Intelligency, Analytics, presentable etc etc..a long list which devlops in a human's professinal profile throughout its life time. which earns reputation in line its appreciable cross effect monetary benefits in day by day.

believe me, I perssonally know many people in industry whose are professionaly qualified like holding degrees like CA/CWA/CS/CIMA and also know people whose are B.Com/M.COM. its not at all suprise to see these people from B.com/M.com earning salary of Package like 15 lacs p.a to 18 lacs n more p.a on their experiences, somewhere they chair in board of directors and CEO . Even in same time, people from CA/CWA background also earning very very high and Very low salary. 

So all in all, Learnings ( from books and experiences) are same to ALL apart from License to work.
