If you are worrly about input credit, you can note-

If order comes in faour of you and effective from application date, you can take input credit on local purchases and if does not you can file appeal petition with higher authority

Is it confirm that the Order will be effective from the application date...??

And moreover one of my Friend who is a Sales Tax Consultant told that you can start the business from the date which is mentioned in your Tin Registration Certificate, if not you cannot avail the Input Tax Credit.

I have filed a petition on 9th Oct 2013 and the order will be given on 6th Nov 2013. So i want to know whether the order will be passed on 6th Nov or they may prolong. Because its been 45 days since I have applied for Tin No and I am losing business.

Effective date depends on the dept. but generally when application accepts by the dept, normally effecttive date mentions from application date

The sales tax consultant told me that the order has been passed in my favour but he hasn't received in paper as the concerned officer in the enforcement has been promoted so the new officer will pass the order only after seeing my file which will come from my circle of assessment.
So i just want to know how much time it will take and will i surely get the tin number...???
