Dear team, plz sugges in following- Mere uncle ek trader h. Unka actual t/o approx 30-32 lacs p.a. hoga. Abhi we TIN no Lena chahte h but abhi GST ane Wala h. To kya karna Abhi better hoga- TIN no le lena chaiye ya GST ke liye kuch time wait kr skte h.

It seems that your uncle is not collecting VAT even his turnover exceeds the prescribe limits. So just wait for 2 months and register under the GST. If you register under vat now then your uncle is obliged to collect vat and pay to government.
