Tin cancelled or not

Hi All

I registered by TIn in Sep 2011.

My CA didnot filled the TAX 3 quarters.

In mAy 2012 I received a letter that my registeration is going to be closed. And I have to visit the VATO.

My CA didnot get success in getting it reactivated till teh last date as per the letter.

I consulted fe more CA and they suggested me that let this registration cancelled because it may cause me 2 more penalties of 10 K which makes a total of 30000/- (as all 3 payments date was mised)

Questions :-

  1. Now should I go for new registration as I again want to work or I neew to get it reactivated my old registration.
  2. How to check whether that registration is fully closed.
  3. Is there any effect of my last regiostration on my new registration in future.

Hi SHobhit thanks for the reply, its showing cancelled under CST act, Does that mean only CSt is cancelled and what about DVAT. Can I go ahead for new registration with the same details. Is there any isse I want to take care of while going for new registration.

The account was not showing my details. Hence I decided to let it close. If I want to reactivate it what formalities do i need to do and what are the expenses.

and

What if I a registered seller purchass from unregistered sellers or importers , i mean no bill is provided by seller.

What formalities do we need in case we purchase goods from importers or local seller who dont provide bills. How to show that ?

you dont pointout in your query that under which section you received notice from department e.i. rule 36, 36a, 37 37(3)38 etc

 

 

what is the procedure and how much will it cost to do it myself and through CA ?

you may proceed yourself if you have proper knowledge or through ca, fee depends upon circumstanses

What will be the approximate expenses. Pl comment. Any rough idea.

I have checked, I just have the Show Cause Notice which does not have any information about rule which you asked. Its just shows see Rule 16 of DVAT :-
