Dear Experts

If someone joining date in a company is 1 August 2018 and he resign on 1 August 2023 on completion 5 years, then is he liable for gratuity ? or he need to resign after 1 August 2023.
and how to claim gratuity?

Time period for gratuity will be
completion of 5 years.
another factor is involved.

just want to confirm on 1 August 2023 it will consider completion or from 2 August 2023....if joining date is 1 August 2018
