I have received a Sales Tax notice which is related to F.Y.2011-12.. i.e. almost 10years old.
Just wanted to know if i can get this notice termed as Time Barred under some provision as i am not able to find any papers related to that FY.

So, if i get a notice pertaining to period even 15yrs back..of which finding papers will be impossible..i may be held liable as per the subject and amount (whatsoever) mentioned in the notice ??
