Dear All,

I know these days the fever and pressure of unemployment is much more than the happiness of getting ICAI or ICSI membership or clearing examinations.sad I think please give some time to yourself and just clear your vision about what you want to do in future. Kindly appreciate no degree or qualification can give you job guarantee.enlightened

You may find lots of people around you without super wonderful qualification but still they are doing well with their hard work and sincerity. So the most important thing is hard work and zeal to succeed in life.yes You are lucky as you got such wonderful qualification so never lose positivity and keep your hopes and attitude alive.smiley

If you work hard, give it time, and don't give up, things will always get better. Oftentimes our dreams lie in wait just a little further upstream... all we need is the courage to push beyond the river.enlightenedyes

Kindly read this story:

For most people, graduation is an exciting day - the conclusion of years of hard work. My graduation day... was not.

I remember that weekend two years ago. Family and friends had flown in from across the country to watch our class walk across that stage. But like everyone else in my graduating class, I had watched the economy turn from bad to worse my senior year. We graduates had degrees, but very limited prospects and without jobs. Numerous applications had not panned out and I knew that the next day, when my lease ended, I would no longer have a place to call home.

The weeks ahead weren't easy. I gathered up everything I couldn't carry and put it into storage. Then, because I knew my small university town couldn't offer me any job opportunities, I packed up my car and drove to Some other city to find job. But what I thought would take a week dragged into two, and then four, and 100 job applications later, I found myself in the exact same spot as I was before. And the due date to begin paying back my student loans was creeping ever closer.

You know that feeling when you wake up and you are just extreme with anxiety? Terror about something you can't control - that sense of impending failure that lingers over you as you hope that everything that happened to you thus far was just a bad dream? That feeling became a constant in my life.

Days felt like weeks, weeks like months, and those many months felt like an unending eternity of hardship. And the most frustrating part was no matter how much I tried, I just couldn't seem to make any progress.

So what did I do to maintain my wisdom? I wrote. Something about putting words on a page made everything seem a little clearer - a little brighter. Something about writing gave me hope. And if you want something badly enough... sometimes a little hope is all you need!

I channeled my frustration into a children's book. Beyond the River was the story of an unlikely hero featuring a little fish who simply refused to give up on his dream.

And then one day, without any sort of writing degree or contacts in the writing world - just a lot of hard work and perseverance - I was offered a publishing contract for my first book! After that, things slowly began to fall into place. I was offered a second book deal. Then, a few months later, I got an interview with The Walt Disney Company and was hired shortly after.

The moral of this story is... don't give up. Even if things look miserable now, don't give up. Two years ago I was sitting in my car drinking cold drink right out of the can. Things change.

If you work hard, give it time, and don't give up, things will always get better. Oftentimes our dreams lie in wait just a little further upstream... all we need is the courage to push beyond the river.

Thanks Ankur Sir

Thanks a lot Rahul Ji for noticing the post...

Great post truly inspiring and encouraging !!!!!But this is probably first time we are saying that CA qualification cannot guarantee a job earlier there was no such thing .Passing CA was considered as a ticket to corporate . If despite doing 3 years of  articleship, industrial training , doing GMCS course and clearing one of toughest exams, working hard for almost 4- 5 years people are not getting job Then reality check needs to be done. We got to accept either  CA course is inadequate  that industry is not attracted or  requirement  is comparatively less than  the number of CA passing  out .

Something has to be done urgently otherwise CA been unemployed would be common of being heard off ... Sad times for CA profession

Dear Sir, I am very sure that things will improve soon. So there is no need to panic as the profession of CA CS CWA is rock solid as far as future security is concerned.

Vishal Ji,

The situation of market is very known you , Financial sector is going through worse period. This wil be over .

But CA with good artielceship is always creamy layer in the market. They have to wait sometimes, but they are always caught by corporates.Sorry for dummy.

Same is also with CS. CS needs to have better in softs skills . Just qualifying CS without extra skills do not make you more competative.

Too perfect observation Raj kumar Ji…it is all about good articleship and working Attitude. You have rightly said that they have to wait sometimes, but they are always caught by corporate.

Exactly ..i feel though i am taking tym to be a cs  or ca ..... my hardwork and my sincerety will surely pay off......!!!!!!!!!!!  There is a saying : "Acche waqt ki buri baat hai ki wo zyada tym nahi rehta, waise hi bure waqt ki acchi baat hai wo bhi zyada tym nahi rehta "...One shd keep doing hard work and wait for the sunshine..kabhi toh subah hogi smiley

According me job market is not as worst as new professinlas feels, only problem is package, 3-4 year back when economy was in good shape that times companies were offering good package, but now jobs are in market but packages is less.

So i advised  new professionals to accept less packages and start your professinal carrier, once situation become normal you will get your due share according to your knowledge and experiance.

THANKS ANKUR SIR,

Hey...fikar mat karo bhaiyyaa... As long IT Department is there CAs won't have 2 sit simply at home..;-)

You have triggered this post at the right time. Many qualified professional are facing problem of employment in economic down turn..Even i faced the problem in getting training and job as well. But with continuous hard work ,perservance and contacts i got it.

I have seen trainees donnot take training seriously, this is the one of the root causes of problem. During studies, we are so busy in clearing exams and hence our soft skills remain under developed. I would recommend make best use of training by developing skills and boost your confidence. Sometimes we dont get job due to our own limitations. Limitations may be in the form of lack of knowledge , soft skill, confidence.

More than anything work on yourself first and suggest you never to get disheartened , never lose hope , keep going and one day you will get what you want.
