Whether tds applicable to it.
If applicable whether it comes under"technical and professional fee"

YES IT COMES UNDER THE PURVIEW OF SEC 194J.
HOWEVER CONSIDER THE LIMIT OF Rs. 20000/- TOO WHILE TAKING ANY DECISION.

This contract is not a work contract , however it come under professional and technical services under section 194J, Tds will deduct @ 10 % if payment made or likely to made during the year is more than threshhold limits ie rs 20000/-
