can we correct date of challan by online correction in traces?

Hi,
Once you select the chalan in the online CHalan correction option, the date of the chalan deposit is automatically picked up by the system. If you have entered the wrong date while filing your return, then you can use this option and it will auto capture the date of chalan deposit.You cannot edit in manually in the online mode.
