Dear All,
The TDS Certificate is in name of Partnership firm.If TDS refund to be made,then it is to be made to partner or partnership firm.
Kindly clarify.

1. since the certificate is in name of partner, i hope the same is reflected in 26AS of partner.
2. TDS has to be claimed by partner if 1 above is true.
3. partner should pay the same to the firm.
Income is of firm. but due to such error by the client , the above is the only way out.
SORRY FOR THE ABOVE MISTAKE,
SINCE THE CERTIFICATE IS NAME OF FIRM, FIRM HAS TO CLAIM THE TDS CREDIT.

as the TDS certificate is in name and PAN of firm, the same is to be claimed by firm and would be refunded to firm only.
