Sir,
My uncle received amount of Rs 14,56,030/- as compensation for compulsory acquisition of land by NHAI under sec 194LA of Income Tax act along with TDS of Rs 1,45,603/- for AY 2019-20.
Now he want to claim refund of said TDS. The date of booking of said TDS is 29 Jul 2018 and date of transaction of said TDS is 15 May 2018.
Now my question is, what is the timelines to claim the said refund? Can he claim it immediately or shall he wait for 01 Apr 2019 (For AY 2019-20)? If he Can claim it immediately, then what is the procedure........? Please Guide.

you have to wait until April 2019 I.e. on or after the date when filing of income tax return for ay 2019-20 will start
He has to file his return for AY 2019-20 when forms are ready . Say third or fourth week of April . Not earlier. Now SC/HC has given an order that forms should be ready by 1st April
