Dear frds / experts,
ITR filed, processed & refund also received for a company for the F.Y.16-17 with a shortage amount. B'coz one of its TDs deductor deducted the TDs amt, also deposited, but not yet filed it's TDs return. So that the company couldn't claim that TDs deducted amt.
Now how to suggest this company to claim the TDs amt? If they ask the TDs deductor to make the refund, they are refusing since they have already deposited (but not yet return filed)
Plz share your ideas.

The only thing that can be done is to come consensus with deductor to give back money or to file return.
If they file the return, how can we get the refund amt (Because already rcvd remaining refund)?
You must have received intimation u/s 143(1), you can file the rectification by quoting your cpc no and filling details in tax credit mismatch column. After the rectification will be processed you will get the balance refund automatically. Please note file rectification only after deductor has filed return of tds and you can see the tds details in your 26AS.
