is there any surchrge removed from TDS, if yes then can u let me know its applicable from which period?

Surcharge is removed only for individuals and not for corporates and it is applicable from Financial year 2009 10

The Finance Minister proposed to waive "secondary and higher education cess on income-tax" as per the proviso to subsection (12) of section (2) of Finace Bill. Please refer to Finance Bill.
