but bank is deducted it at the rate of 20.30 how it is possible
However, if you are a NRI and residing in one of the countries where there is a Double Taxation Agreement Avoidance Treaty, your deposits may attract a TDS at lower rate. For that you are required to make an application and comply with the requisite procedures.
