what is the last date for remittance for TDS amount ? Is it end of the month or 7th of the subsequent month ? what is it in case for the month of march ?.

Hi Nanju,
If the entry is passed from 01.03.08 to 30.03.08, then the same will have to be deposited by 07.04.2008. But if the Entry is passed as on 31.03.2008, then TDS can be deposited upto 31.05.2008. Note that in such a case TDS Certifcate will be to issued by 30.04.2008 in 1st case and 7th of June in the 2nd Case.
