Hi !

Our company is having tan alloted in juridiction of Delhi. Company is also having office in chandigarh & one of authorized signatory is also sitting in chandigarh.

Since all the TDS certificates are issued from chandigarh office & place of signing mentioned in all TDS certificate is chandigarh.Since our alloted tan is in the juridiction of Delhi & place of issuance mentioned in TDS certificate issued to different parties is chandigarh . If this is technical error or violation of law.

what address mantion in TDS return must be in form 16. In my openion it is not a violation of law but when u mention wrong TAN numer than it may be consider a violation of law. I advise to u that please rectify all the from16

TDS certificate should be issued under the address of delhi office only.

Place of issue of TDS certificate may be differ than the address given for issue TAN but the address on form 16 or 16A should be the same which is given for tyhe TAN.

Dear Sir,

Address of Company & Address given in TDs certificate are same.We are talking about the Place of issuance is filled chandigarh at bottom of the cerficate.

Example:

Place of issue : Chandiharh Authorized Signatory.

Date of issue :
