Dear Sir,

We have imposed tds late filing fee u/s 234E for Rs. 4600, can we remove this amount or how to pay this money online.

In your case, you need to enter relevant section while paying tax online like 194A, 194C etc and in the payment gateway system you need to enter the amount in the relevant column provided for 234E

YOU CAN PAY THIS AMOUNT THROUGH REGULAR TDS CHALLAN OR ONLINE AND THEN NEED TO REVISE THIS RETURN.

A STAY IS ALSO THERE BY KARNATAKA HIGH COURT ON THIS INTEREST

I am working in a company, where we have received demand for Rs.48000.00 towards late filing of TDS return.We have paid the amount and revised the return mentioning the amount in challan under fees.Now the issue has been resolved
