hi everybody,
whether tds challans for june 09 to be paid on or before 7th july can be paid in old challans as new challan has not yet been made available on income tax dept site.how to get the utn nos for challans paid for the months of april09 and may 09.

TDS payment for the month of Jun has to be paid by Form 17 which may be available within 1-2 days. Reg. UTN of Apr and May, you have to fill the deductees details along with PAN and amount in Form 17. After successful submission of details you will get the UTN via mail. for more detail pl refer circular dtd 21/05/09.

mr. tapse u may be not aware of the recent updations.
the notification no. 31 is now kept in abeyance till next notification of CBDT.
so tds/tcxs is continued to be deposited in the earlier challan form and returns were also be filed as earlier.
