have a query. if any person works in a company April to July l on what basis TDs to be deducted. his annually salary is 500000 per annum. TDS should be ? on 4 months salary or for whole 500000.
kindly explain the same with sections

TDS can only be on income earned during his service period.
take his investment details first
You are not required to deduct TDS (Employee 4 months salary Below Exemption Limit)
check whether he crosses d exemption limit or not
if yes den at what slab he is falling den deduct TDS according
as per Avg Rate

No need to deduct TDS for the 4months if his salary is not exceeding BEL...
Usally TDS on salary will be caluculated and deducted on projections of Anual salary, and actuals will be deducted on last monts of financial year.
