You are mixing sec 194-I & sec. 194-IB....... they are independent of each other, though both are for rent paid......

Sec. 194IB is applicable to assessee who are not liable to deduct TDS u/s. 194 I.

First clarify under which catagory you come first?

sir i pay rent of rs 40000 per month under section 194 IB in that case i donot need to deduct tds...as my monthly rent does not exceeds of rs 50000 per month.....am i right sir???? plz reply me

Is section 194 IB applicable to you, when you are liable to deduct TDS for many other services and have TAN?

yes sir .... plz clear me my landlord comes under h.u.f. and tds comes under sec 194 IB. and monthly rent doesnot exceeds of rs 50000... so i donot need to deduct tds... am i right sir??? plz reply me.
